Women in Search of Ourselves - Phase Two
In response to numerous requests from women who have participated in the program "Women: In Search of
Ourselves", Chandler Consulting Inc. is proud to offer a second phase to this program. The focus will
be on continued self awareness and personal growth. Completion of Phase One is a prerequisite for
Phase Two.
The eight 2-hour sessions held weekly will cover many of the topics offered in Phase One at a more
in-depth level, as well as additional topics oriented to achieving a deeper level of self awareness
and balance. Each session will provide information on a specific topic, and will also allow time to
personalize information and process feelings. Women attending this support group will find a deeper
level of connection, both with self and others, as well as a structure to incorporate newly acquired
skills into their daily lives.
Topics to be covered:
- Phase One Review Theory and Methods for Emotional Recovery
- Codependency - The Relapse Process - Dealing With Hooks & Triggers
- Codependency - Getting Through the Cycle - Basic Self Care Concepts
- Family of Origin - Moving Through Unfinished Business - Breaking Free
- Inner Child - Identifying Loss, Healing
- On Being a Woman - A Sense of Her Depth, Her Feelings, Her Life
- Listening to Ourselves - Inner Wisdom, Ritual and Dance
- The Search for Spirituality
Why Phase Two?
Recovery is a process. Within that process is another one called relapse; regression, reverting,
slips - whatever we call it. In spite of our best efforts to stay on track, we sometimes find
ourselves reverting to old ways of thinking, feeling and behaving, even when we know better. We may
find ourselves using coping behaviors we thought we had outgrown. Relapse happens to many of us, not
because we're deficient, but because it's a normal part of the recovery process. Therefore - Phase Two.
